This 1941 original MINT condition Mason & Hamlin 5' Symetrigrand piano is a very special instrument. With gorgious IVORY keys and a beautiful original walnut finish, the shape of this piano is like a bell. Thus, it's called a symetrigrand. Rebuilders convert them to butterfly grand pianos and sell them for big-bucks.
The action has been regulted and it plays with ease. The voice is powerful yet sensitive and warm. There is exceptional dynamic control and a impressive array of colors. That's a lot for a baby grand. Maestro's Music likes this 5' Mason & Hamlin better that a 1940s 5'1" Steinway S.
If you have discriminating taste, you're looking for a baby grand and you want something special, this is the piano for you! $12,500.
